If your broker, lender, or adviser sent you a link to complete your application or upload documents, that link opens Collect (Client Portal). No account, software, or technical knowledge needed — just a web browser on your phone or computer.
The questions you see, and any rules they follow, are set up by your broker. Collect (Client Portal) shows you your part of the application, and nothing else.
What Collect is for
Collect (Client Portal) is where you do the parts of an application only you can do: answer questions, upload documents (payslips, ID, statements), sign documents, and confirm each step. Everything is split into steps — a progress indicator at the top shows where you are.
Signing in — the magic link
Collect (Client Portal) has no password. It uses a magic link — a private URL sent to your email containing a unique token. Opening it signs you straight in.
Two ways you might arrive:
- Your broker sent a direct link. Click it — you're in.
- You have a "request a link" page. Enter the email address your broker has on file; the system emails you a fresh link to click.
Things to know:
- The link is personal. Anyone who opens it reaches your application, so don't forward it.
- Links expire (30 days in the standard setup). Ask your broker for a new one if yours has lapsed, or use the "request a link" page.
- The confirmation on the request page is always the same, whether or not your email is on file — a privacy measure. If you don't receive an email, check the address is the one your broker used, check spam, then contact your broker.
To return to your application later, reopen the original link from your email. It takes you straight back.
Filling in a form
Each form shows all its questions on a single scrollable page. Answer them in order, then press Continue at the bottom. If a step has multiple forms, you complete them one at a time.
How questions can look
| You might see… | It's asking for… | How you answer |
|---|---|---|
| Big tappable tiles | A choice from a list | Tap the one that applies. Some allow several. |
| A slider with − and + | An amount, like a loan figure | Drag the handle, or tap the number to type an exact figure. |
| An on/off toggle | A yes/no answer | Flip the switch. |
| A scrollable panel with a tick box | Your consent | Scroll to the bottom (the tick box may unlock after scrolling), then tick. |
| A plain text box, dropdown, or date picker | Free text, a single choice, or a date | Type or pick as usual. |
| A grey, read-only box | Information shown to you | Nothing — read only. |

Required questions and validation
- Continue stays inactive until all required questions are answered. Press it early and Collect flags each missing one and scrolls to the first.
- Questions hidden because they don't apply to you won't hold you up.
- Individual questions can carry checks (email format, minimum age, file size, etc.). If an answer fails, a short message appears directly under it — correct it and the message clears.
0and unticked boxes count as valid answers.

Uploading documents
Tap the upload area and choose a file from your device. A progress bar shows as it uploads.
- Some steps accept several files; others, just one.
- If a file is too big, the wrong type, or too many are selected, Collect tells you exactly what's wrong.
- Some document types are scanned automatically and may pre-fill related answers for you to confirm.
"Required later" documents don't block you now — they're collected separately before things wrap up.
The upload link is short-lived. If an upload sits half-finished for a long time it can time out — Collect will say so. Just choose the file and try again; your saved answers are safe.
Saving and resuming
There is no Save button. Collect saves your answers automatically as you go. To resume, reopen the magic link from your email (or request a fresh one). Your answers will be in place and the progress indicator will show how far you got.
Once you submit a step it's handed to your broker and closed for editing. To change something you've submitted, contact your broker — they can re-open the step.
Is my information safe?
- Your link only opens your application. The token is tied to your deal only. If your broker removes you, the link stops working.
- Each organisation's data is fully separated. Your information is never visible to another organisation on the platform. See How is my organisation's data kept separate from everyone else's?.
- Links expire and can be revoked. If someone else has seen your link, ask your broker to re-issue it — the old one can be switched off.
If something goes wrong
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Link says expired or invalid | Ask your broker for a new link, or use the "request a link" page. |
| Didn't receive the email | Check the address matches what your broker has; check spam; contact your broker. |
| Continue won't activate | A required question is unanswered — press Continue and Collect will scroll to it. |
| Red message under a question | Fix that one thing and continue. |
| Upload failed or timed out | Choose the file and try again; other answers are safe. |
| Need to edit a submitted step | Contact your broker to re-open it. |
